Fare list declared for inter-distirct transport

HUNZA, Feb 01: Transport fares have been declared for inter-district public transport on different routes.According to details, Magistrate/ Tehsildar Hunza has issued new fares charges on public transport running on different routes to and from Aliabad, Hunza. The new schedules of fares charges are Rs.6 for 5 Killo meters; Rs.10 for 8 Kilometers, Rs.10 for 15 Kilometers Rs.12 and for 20 killometers RS.30 to be effective Feb. 01, 2010 onwards.According to announcement from Magistrate office, the new schedule shall be enforced strictly and in case of violence or excessive travel charges will be liable to legal proceedings. Masses have been asked by government authorities to endorse complaint reports to Station House Officers in case of excessive fare charges by transporters. Courtesy:Voice of Hunza
