Garelth-Karimabad new link road being constructed against approved plan; lack of funds disrupted construction work

HUNZA, Garelth, June 08: The approved plan of construction of Garelth-Karimabad new link road has been largely deviated by the contractor with the help of authorities of concerned department. According to details, the link road aimed to recede distance to Girls Inter College, Karimabad and to facilitate the lower Karimabad settlement was altered for unknown reasons.

According to the nearby residents, the work has stalled for many months due to lack of development funds.

The link road was planned to construct as an alternative truckable link to the main service road from Ganish to Krimabad would harldly prove beneficial as the turns at various places are vulnerable for heavy traffic with a considerable steep position.
